What are our indoor air quality offerings?

Phase I – The Initial Survey

Our one-day investigation includes:

  • We conduct preliminary information gathering, which includes collecting background information about the building and its systems. Also, we look after complaints or illnesses reported by employees and occupants for a better investigation scope.
  • We investigate and assess the general environmental conditions and HVAC systems that can impact IAQ. We collect adhesive tape and microscopic samples from the system surfaces and detailed photographs for evaluation.
  • We test air quality based on different parameters such as temperature, humidity, pollutants, and total volatile organic compounds. Also, we conduct mold testing to detect airborne microorganisms and assess their concentration.
  • We collect air-o-cell samples to determine airborne particle levels, including mold, fungal elements, spores, skin cell fragments, dust, and fibers. Also, we sample chemical agents identified during the preliminary investigation for further analysis.
  • At last, we compare final air samples from the affected areas and outdoors and prepare a detailed report mentioning our findings and recommendations.

Phase II- In-Depth Investigation

If Phase I doesn’t resolve the issue or you are not satisfied with the report prepared, we move to Phase II, which is an in-depth investigation. In this phase, the analysis is more detailed.

  • We thoroughly examine your HVAC system. Our examination includes ductwork and testing for mold, bacteria, or chemicals.
  • We continuously monitor air quality based on basic air quality parameters- CO2, CO, temperature, and relative humidity. This continuous monitoring is for up to 14 days, helping us to gather comprehensive data.
  • We perform advanced testing to analyze airborne bacteria, fungi, mycotoxins, and endotoxins. This helps us better understand potential contaminants.
  • We conduct microscopic, particulate, and chemical assays, which include identifying molds, bacteria, fibers dander, and pollen using air-o-cells and transparent tape imprints, identifying fibers, pollens, fungi, and asbestos by conducting microscopic analysis and testing for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), specific chemicals, and unidentified substances respectively.
  • Our in-depth investigation phase also includes testing for indoor allergens, such as dust mites, pet dander, cockroach allergens, and endotoxins.

Phase III- Remediation

After identifying IAQ issues, we implement corrective actions:

  • We mention specifications in detail and create a remediation plan to effectively address all the identified issues.  We also perform mold and bacterial decontamination using the latest tools and techniques, ensuring a thorough cleanup.
  • We provide project oversight and management of the remediation process, ensuring all standards are met.  Finally, we perform an air sampling and chemical analysis, confirming the remediation is successful and the environment is clean.

Testimonials

fAQ

Our indoor air quality service addresses problems like mold, bacteria, allergens, chemicals, asbestos, and lead. We identify problems experienced by your employees and occupants and resolve them.

We recommend the Phase II In-Depth Investigation if a problem is found during the Phase I investigation. In-depth Investigation includes more detailed testing and continuous monitoring for understanding the problem and getting more specific data for remediation.

Our remediation process is effective as we use advanced decontamination methods and rigorous project management. Also, we conduct final air sampling and chemical analysis after remediation to confirm that the issue has been resolved.
